The role is suitable for Registered Nurse's with a minimum of 1 year post qualifying experience and is a Band 6 equivalent post. Enhanced rates are in place for weekends and overtime, annual holiday entitlement of 33 days.
Summary of job description
Confident in providing hands on care and supporting our care staff to maintain outstanding care;
able to learn and use computer based care management programs and electronic medication Management systems.
Have, or be willing to achieve, competence in catheterisation, venepuncture, wound management, PEG management and symptom control.
Previous Nursing Home experience an advantage but the ability to demonstrate a genuine interest in elderly and or palliative care is very important.
able to take charge of the shift and supervise and delegate tasks to Senior care staff.
able to demonstrate continuous professional development and be keen to develop further.
